- Julia Bohl
Julia Bohl attends Mariemont High School. Her extracurricular activities include: Ohio Swimming Senior Athlete Representative, where she encourages fellow athletes to understand the governance of their sport; Girls Who Code; lifeguarding; volunteering at the FreeStore Foodbank and Matthew 25 Ministries; and DECA - an international competitive business club. She specialized her events in the finance industry and qualified to compete at the international level last year.
In her essay, Julia recounted lap swimming as a study session - conjugating Latin verbs, mentally tracing European history, and visualizing cell pathways during each lap. In his letter of recommendation, the General Chair of Ohio Swimming related that USA Swimming's House of Delegates approved a proposal from the Athletes Committee, on which Julia served, "the most significant single issue accomplished in its existence."
Julia applied to eleven prestigious institutions. Her dream is to major in Data Science at MIT.

- Cooper Burt
Cooper Burt comes from Ross High School. He has already been accepted and will swim for The Ohio State University, majoring in business.
At Ross, Cooper is a member of the National Honor Society and the Student Athlete Leadership Program. Extracurricular activities include Miami Makosvolunteer assistant; USA Swimming All-American; Ohio Swimming Athlete Representative; and volunteering at the Oxford Food Pantry.
In his essay, Cooper wrote that he fell in love with swimming when he was six. Swimming has been his source of happiness as he dealt with the pain of grief, academic obligations, and growing up. His Oxford Swim Team and Talawanda High School coach stated that Cooper is one of the hardest working individuals that he has ever met, who uses swimming as an outlet to thrive, in spite of the roadblocks that life has given him.

- Hazel Culver
Hazel Culver, from Hamilton High School, has been extremely busy inside and out of school.
In addition to National Honor Society, student council, and the Youth Philanthropy Council, she has participated in Civic Day, a program to promote understanding of how a city functions. Hazel was an assistant coach for Girls on the Run and been a lifeguard and swim lesson instructor at New London Hills Swim Club, all to better connect with youngsters.
In his letter of recommendation, the advisor to Civic Day noted that Hazel had applied to be a member of the School Board, and her proposal that a record board of athletic teams be installed on the school walls, which is currently being done. Another proposal for a Taste of Hamilton is being considered by the mayor and council.
Hazel is planning to major in Interior Design at either Ball State, Miami University, or NKU.

- Nicholas Smith
Nicholas Smith attends Centerville High School, where he is a member ofthe National Honor Society, the German NHS, captain of the swim team, and a National Merit Scholarship semi-finalist. He has volunteered for two years as a coach at Black Oak Swim Club, for the Centerville School Board Re-election Campaign, and for the Centerville City Schools Levy Campaign. Clubs he has joined are Ping Pong, Geography, Key Club, and the Red Cross Club.
The Coordinating Principal at his school described Nicholas as a courteous and respectful young man who is well-rounded and hard-working.
Nicholas has applied to eight prominent universities, and his dream is to major in Data Science at Notre Dame.

- Caroline Mignery
Caroline Mignery is home-schooled in the Talawanda School District. She resides on a farm, where she raises and shows goats, lambs, a feeder calf, turkeys, and meat rabbits and chickens.
Caroline is part of the Butler Co. Jr. Fair board, on the goat department, helping to make decisions about the goat shows, locate judges, set up pens, and run the shows. She is a counselor and lifeguard at 4H Camp Graham. Plus, she is an assistant manager and lifeguard at New London Hills Swim Club.
Caroline has served as a captain of Talawanda’s girls team for two years. In his letter of recommendation, her coach stated that Caroline was instrumental in starting a team Instagram page and helped the girls function as a close unit through her team-bonding activities. A teacher at the homeschool co-op shared that Caroline's "leadership style is inclusive and empowering, ensuring thateveryone she works with feels valued and supported."
Caroline hopes to attend Franciscan University to major in Exercise Science.

- Nick Wickler
- Nick Wickler goes to Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy.
His extracurricular activities include being Lead Strategist on the World Championship Robotics team and an Eagle Scout-serving as Troop Guide and Historian. He is in the Electric Jazz Orchestra—the lead baritone saxophone and soloist. Plus, he started his own lawncare service. For his Eagle Scout service project, Nick designed an all-wood trash receptacle for Sharon Woods Heritage Village.
In his essay, Nick shared that having a safe space, the pool, where he could just put his head underwater to forget about his Crohn’s disease, schoolwork, and extracurriculars was invaluable - the one constant force that kept him centered.
Nick has applied to numerous schools; University of Texas, Georgia Tech, Michigan State, and Stanford, to name a few. He hopes to attend The Ohio State University to major in Mechanical Engineering.
