Martini Peroni is the 2022 recipient of The Amphitrite Award presented by swimmeet.com to the top female high school swimmer in Ohio for the 2021-2022 season based on the Power Points 100.
Martina is a senior at Olentangy High School. She will be swimming at Duke University next year and plans to major in the STEM field. Martina is a three time MVP for Braves swimming, holds eight program records, is the state record holder in the 200 IM and 100 Butterfly, making her the most successful swimmer to ever compete for the Braves.
Martina has participated in many high level meets including most recently the 2020 Olympic Swimming Trials, and this past summer was a member of the National Junior Select Camp.
Martina has an exceptional work ethic, and is dedicated to the sport of swimming, committing many hours training year round. Her work ethic and determination is what propels her to compete at the highest level, and makes her a role model for her teammates.
Through all her accomplishments, Martina has said that the highlight of her swimming with Olentangy High School has been the experience of competing with her teammates on relays, especially at the State meet.
