Mirielle Trumpower is the 2026 recipient of The Amphitrite Award presented by swimmeet.com to the top female high school swimmer in Ohio for the 2025-2026 season based on the Power Points 100.
Mirielle will also receive a $1,000 scholarship from swimmeet.com.
Mirielle is a Junior at Ontario High School located in Ontario, Ohio. She is a 10-time OHSAA D2 State medalist.
Most recently Mirielle finished 2nd at the state championship in both the 100 Butterfly and 100 Backstroke.
She currently holds 7 school records, 4 Mid-Ohio Athletic Conference records, and is the Northwest District D2 record holder in the 100 Butterfly.
Following her 100 Butterfly performance at this year's state championship, Mirielle moved into the #23 spot on the Honor Roll list of all-time state meet performers.
In addition to her commitment and excellence in the pool, Mirielle maintains a 4.3 GPA in the classroom and has earned several scholar athlete honors.
Miri would like to thank her parents, coaches and teammates for making swimming an environment where she can grow not only as an athlete but also as a person.
Mirielle has verbally committed to Liberty University for the Fall of 2027. She is excited to join a community that not only pursues excellence in the pool and classroom but also puts Christ at the center of it all.
