Girls All-Star Teams

2000-2009

Ohio High School Swimming

"Keep in mind that the past is not history, but a much vaster region of the dead, gone, unknowable or forgotten. History is what we choose to remember."
Joseph J. Ellis
It needs to be remembered that from this point forward, OHSAA Girls’ State meet was split into 2 divisions. For the purposes of the Gold Star and All-Star teams, the girls’ meet results were combined to form a ‘mythical’ result that awarded the state titles to the fastest finals performers in each event, regardless of division. Therefore, if a Division 1 girl won the 50 Freestyle with a 24.00, but the Division 2 champion was 23.99, the latter would be the state champion for the purposes of this all-star list. All stated placings represent a swimmer’s final rank in the state based on finals time.
