- The senior won her 3rd straight title in the 50 Freestyle and became the 4th girl in Ohio history to win the same event for 4 straight years with her 100 Freestyle victory. Both times were again state records. Her 22.35 in the 50 Freestyle was the 2nd best time in the nation while her 48.35 in the 100 Freestyle was 3rd best. During her tenure, she dropped a remarkable 0.38 and 1.55 seconds from the old state records in those respective events. She never lost a division 2 race during her 4 years, and her 7 overall state titles is 2nd most in state history (Whitney Myers).

- The senior won her 2nd straight title in the 100 Backstroke and was runner-up in the 200 Freestyle. Her 54.25 time in that 100 Backstroke was the 11th best time in the country this year.

- The senior was runner-up in the 50 and 100 Freestyle and led Bishop Watterson to state titles in the 200 and 400 Freestyle Relays. She graduates having won the division 1 title in the 50 and 100 Freestyle for 3 consecutive years, only being beaten by Margo Geer during that span. Her best times this season of 23.16 and 50.06 were ranked 13th and 10th in the nation, respectively.

- The senior finally makes her first all-star team after winning the 200 Freestyle and finishing 3rd in the 500 Freestyle. Her 1:48 time in the 200 Freestyle was ranked 13th nationally.

- The senior led Upper Arlington to their 5th straight season as the top team in Ohio. She was runner-up in the 100 Backstroke, 3rd in the 200 IM, and part of their state title winning 200 Medley Relay.

Springboro
- The senior was state champion in the 50 and 100 Freestyle, and led Springboro to runner-up finishes in both the 200 Medley and 400 Freestyle Relay. Her 20.94 time in the 50 Freestyle was 7th in the nation this year, and 4th best in Ohio history, while her 50.72 time in the 100 Freestyle was also top 20 in the country and won by just over a tenth of a second. She also set a state record with her 23.87 butterfly let on the 200 Medley Relay.

- The senior led Upper Arlington to their 6th straight Ohio title and became just the 5th girl to win all 4 of her events at the state meet (combined divisions) after taking gold in the 200 Freestyle, 500 Freestyle, 200 Freestyle Relay, and 400 Freestyle Relay. The 200 Freestyle Relay set a new state record and was 2nd in the nation this year.

- The junior was the only double-event winner this year, taking first in both the 200 IM and 100 Breaststroke. Her 100 Breaststroke time of 1:02.59 was 15th best in the nation this year, and she was also part of Ursuline’s 200 Medley Relay (1:42.51) that broke the state record and was 4th in the nation this year.

- Kouchecki, an all-star last year, just missed out, scoring 31 points with her 100 Butterfly runner-up and 5th place 200 IM performance. Comer, who was 2nd in the 200 IM and 7th in the 100 Backstroke, actually had the fastest overall 200 IM time this year at 2:00.48, and that swim was ranked 15th nationally. She was also on UA’s state record setting 400 Freestyle Relay team.
2013

- The senior was state champion in the 50 and 100 Freestyle. Her time of 22.53 in the 50 Freestyle was 2nd best in the country and 2nd best in Ohio history while her 100 Freestyle of 49.70 was 8th in the country and 3rd best in state history. She also anchored Jackson’s 200 Medley Relay in a 22.1.

- The senior was champion in both the 200 IM and 100 Backstroke. Her 200 IM time of 1:57.98 knocked the oldest record off the board: Tami Ransom’s 1:58.76 state record and Jenny Forster’s 1:59.21 state meet record. That swim was 3rd best in the nation this year while her 54.04 state title swim in the 100 Backstroke was 16th fastest.

- The junior was state champion in both the 200 and 500 Freestyle. Her 1:47.43 time in the 200 Freestyle was 11th in the country and 2nd best in Ohio history while her 4:47.26 in the 500 Freestyle was 12th in the country and 3rd best in Ohio history.

- The junior key in Ursuline winning their first title since 2003. She was runner-up in the 100 Backstroke and 100 Butterfly and was part of Ursuline’s state title winning 200 Medley and 400 Freestyle relay teams. Her best time this season in the 100 Backstroke of 53.94 tied for #1 in Ohio and was 9th in the country. That 400 Freestyle Relay team set a new state record at 3:23.19 and was 4th in the country this year.

- Last year’s Gold Star winner was another critical component to Ursuline’s championship, taking 2nd in the 100 Breaststroke and 3rd in the 200 IM, while also being part of their state title 200 Medley and 400 Freestyle relay teams, the latter of which set a new state record and was 4th in the country.

- Whitley and 2 other girls just missed the all-star team with 30 state points, but Whitley’s 100 backstroke was notable: She was third best at the state meet but her best time of 53.94 tied for the top time in Ohio and was 9th in the country.

- The senior was state champion in the 200 Freestyle, 100 Freestyle, 400 Freestyle Relay, and part of Ursuline’s runner-up 200 Freestyle Relay. She broke the oldest record on the board, Whitney Myers’ 200 Freestyle mark with a 1:46.78 time that was 5th best in the nation. Her 49.75 time in the 100 Freestyle was 9th best nationally, and her relay splits of 22.53 and 49.36 were best in Ohio. Both of those relays broke the state record (although Upper Arlington actually won the 200 Freestyle Relay) and that 400 Freestyle Relay was ranked 4th nationally.

She was champion in the 100 Butterfly, 100 Backstroke, 200 Medley and 400 Freestyle Relay. Her season best 100 Backstroke time of 53.35 was 10th in the nation this year and set a new state record.

- The junior was state champion in the 200 IM, 500 Freestyle, 400 Freestyle Relay, and 200 Medley Relay, joining the exclusive 4-win club. Her 2:00.13 time in the 200 IM was 14th in the nation while her 4:46 in the 500 Freestyle was 10th nationally and 2nd best in Ohio history. She also swam the breaststroke leg on the state title 200 Medley Relay and led off the record setting 400 Freestyle Relay.

Her 1:59.91 time in the 200 IM was 17th in the nation and 6th best in Ohio history, while her 4:44.40 in the 500 Freestyle was 8th best nationally and 2nd best in Ohio history (by a decent margin).

- The sophomore posted some of the best sprint times in state history this year, and finished as state champion in the 50 Freestyle and runner-up in the 100 Freestyle. Her 22.35 district time in the 50 Freestyle was 4th best in the nation and tied Margo Geer’s state record, while her 49.34 district time in the 100 Freestyle was 2nd best in state history and 12th in the nation this year.

- The junior was state champion in the 50 Freestyle, 100 Freestyle, and 400 Freestyle relay. Her best times of 22.45 and 48.96 in those sprint events were ranked 2nd and 5th in the country this year. Her 24.2 and 48.6 splits on the 200 Medley and 400 Freestyle Relay were key to Mason’s runner-up finish this year, best in team history. Both of her individual times were 2nd best in state history.

- The junior was state champion in both the 200 IM and 100 Breaststroke and was part of Walsh Jesuit’s division 1 state title 200 Medley Relay team. Her 1:01.52 time in the 100 Breaststroke broke Ashley Specht’s 7-year-old state record and was the 12th best time in the country this year.
- Katie Trace (1)
Upper Arlington
- The junior was state champion in the 200 Freestyle, 500 Freestyle, and 200 Freestyle Relay for state champion Upper Arlington. Her 1:47.11 time in the 200 Freestyle was ranked 11th nationally and her wins were crucial because Upper Arlington beat Mason by just 10 points in the division 1 race and only a single point after combining results from division 1 and 2.

- The senior won her 2nd straight state title in the 100 Backstroke and was 3rd in the 100 Butterfly. Her 100 Backstroke time wasn’t quite on her state record of 52.92 from last year but her 53.38 was still the 8th best time in the nation this season.

- The senior was state champion in the 100 Butterfly, 4th in the 200 IM, and part of Upper Arlington’s state title winning 200 Freestyle Relay team.

Her 50 Freestyle time of 22.49 was 5th best nationally and 3rd best in Ohio history, while her 100 Freestyle at 49.41 was 8th best in the nation this year. She scored more national level points (25) than all other girls in Ohio this year combined (20).

Her championship times were 48.96 and 1:45.91 which were ranked 3rd and 6th in the country this year and that 200 Freestyle was a state record. She also had a leadoff time in the 50 Freestyle of 22.63 that was 2nd best in Ohio this year and 9th in the nation, and an in-season swim of 4:47.50 in the 500 Freestyle that was ranked 1st in Ohio this season and 10th in the nation. That makes her the first girl in Ohio history to score nationally in 4 separate events during the same season, and her 45 national level points this year are an all-time record for Ohio girls. Factoring in her 50 Freestyle state title from last year, she also becomes one of just a few girls in state history to win 3 different individual events.

- The senior led Hoover to their first ever girls’ team title (combined format), winning the 500 Freestyle and finishing 2nd in the 100 Freestyle. She also was the primary swimmer on Hoover’s 200 Medley and 200 Freestyle Relays that both won the state title. Her 22.59 time in the 50 Freestyle was 7th best in the nation this year. The Medley Relay set a state record and was ranked 4th nationally while the 200 Freestyle Relay was 3rd nationally.

- The senior was state champion in the 100 Butterfly for the 3rd straight year and finished 2nd in the 200 Freestyle. Her 100 Butterfly time of 53.31 was a new state record and 14th best in the country this year.

- The senior was state champion in the 100 Backstroke and runner-up in the 200 IM. Her 53.31 time in the 100 Backstroke was ranked 13th in the nation.

- The senior won her 2nd straight state title in the 100 Breaststroke, again in record time. In fact, her 59.29 state record was the 3rd best swim in the nation this year and means she’s dropped an incredible 2.23 seconds from the state record in just 2 seasons.

- The sophomore was state champion in the 200 IM and 3rd in the 100 Breaststroke. Her 200 IM time of 1:59.73 was a Top-16 swim.

- The junior was state champion in the 500 Freestyle and 5th in the 200 Freestyle.

- The senior was 3rd at state in both the 100 Freestyle and 100 Backstroke.

- The senior led Mason to their 2nd straight division 1 team title with 4th place finishes in both the 100 and 200 Freestyle giving her 30 state points.
